Thanks to the newly developed partially stacked CMOS sensor with high-speed readout, the camera offers continuous shooting at approximately 10 fps with mechanical shutter. Switch to SH Burst or SH Pre-Burst modes with electronic shutter, and you can capture decisive moments at up to 70 fps, even when shooting fast-moving subjects like sports, wildlife or vehicles. The viewfinder and monitor remain blackout-free, allowing confident framing with post-view support.
Next-level autofocus with advanced AI recognition technology
The LUMIX S1II camera, equipped with phase hybrid autofocus system that delivers high speed, accuracy and subject tracking, takes autofocus to the next level. With advanced artificial intelligence technology, it can accurately detect and focus on eyes and faces even in challenging conditions when faces are tilted or partially obscured. The system now includes urban sports recognition, allowing the camera to maintain precise focus on subjects even in dynamic sports competition scenes. Additionally, the "Motorcycle" mode has evolved into motorcycle/bicycle recognition mode.
