Utilizing hydroxyl radicals similar to those found in nature, nanoe™ X helps reduce a variety of indoor pollutants. nanoe™ X brings these benefits indoors to help keep hard surfaces, fabrics and the air cleaner and more pleasant. It delivers 7 distinct nanoe™ X effects — Panasonic's proprietary approach. Targets 5 pollutant categories: bacteria & viruses, mold, allergens, pollen and harmful chemicals. Also reduces odors and helps retain moisture for skin and hair.
Internal cleaning
The internal cleaning function is built to keep the indoor unit hygienic. Using nanoe™ X technology, it can inhibit certain bacteria, viruses and mold on the filter, evaporator, air outlet and other parts by up to 99%. The redesigned cross‑flow fan has an anti‑dust coating that reduces dust adhesion and is effective against some bacteria and mold. Tests show the coating reduces dust accumulation by 62.5% compared with an uncoated surface. Actual dust and mold levels will depend on use and environment.

Panasonic 's Aerowings design uses two independent, adjustable blades to focus airflow so a room reaches the desired temperature quickly and the air is spread evenly.
1. Aerowings 2.0 includes a Shower Cooling mode that directs air toward the ceiling for gentle, uniform cooling across the whole room instead of a localized cold blast.
2. For heating, Aerowings 2.0 projects a focused warm airflow downward to mimic the effect of underfloor heating, allowing warm air to rise and fill the space.
