Load Adaptive Phase Calibration (LAPC)
Speaker impedance changes across frequencies, which can affect timing and tonal balance. LAPC measures the frequency and phase response of your amplifier–speaker combination via the "LAPC Measurement Process" using the remote, then applies digital corrections in real time. The result is more consistent response, improved spatial detail and smoother, more natural sound from your speakers.

The SU-GX70 employs a fully digital amplifier architecture that keeps the signal in the digital domain from input to output, minimizing external noise and preserving resolution. The built-in JENO Engine also reduces jitter on the HDMI ARC path, delivering cleaner, more accurate TV audio.
High-quality Audio through Low-impact HDMI Video Output
To protect audio quality when using HDMI ARC, the SU-GX70 reduces video output load by sending video at a lower rate with pixel colors set to zero, cutting potential noise. Signals are routed to the JENO Engine via the shortest path to minimize jitter. As HDMI licensors, Panasonic/Technics optimized this design to maintain the clearest possible sound from your TV and video sources.
Pure Amplification Mode for Even Less Noise
In Pure Amplification Mode, the SU-GX70 powers down the network and HDMI circuitry to eliminate interference from those sections and the antenna. With those systems inactive, the amplifier focuses solely on music playback, producing quieter backgrounds and greater transparency.
Twin Power Supply Circuit System
Power delivery is critical for clean amplification. The SU-GX70 uses a dedicated power supply for its amplifier circuits, isolated from other digital and control sections. It employs the same high-quality electrolytic capacitors found in higher-end models and a high-speed switching supply around 130 kHz. The higher switching frequency reduces interference in the audio band and provides fast, stable power for dynamic, controlled speaker drive.

The SU-GX70 adopts a refined amplifier topology inspired by the flagship SU-R1000, including a symmetrical layout and premium parts. Low-noise FETs, precision thin-film resistors and high-grade capacitors are used to keep noise low and musical detail high.
